Phenotype ontology term - FYPO:0000339 - mislocalized septum during vegetative growth

Term summary

ID
FYPO:0000339
Name
mislocalized septum during vegetative growth
Ontology or CV name
Phenotype
Definition
A physical cellular phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which a cell has a septum in an abnormal location. The normal location is at the midpoint of the long axis of the cell. The site of septum assembly is normally determined by the location of the actomyosin contractile ring.
