Term summary

ID
FYPO:0000857
Name
normal nucleosome positioning in euchromatin
Ontology or CV name
Phenotype
Definition
A cellular process phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which nucleosome positioning in regions of euchromatin is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type). Nucleosome positioning is the ordering of successions of nucleosomes into regular arrays so that nucleosomes are positioned at defined distances from one another.
