- Definition
- A cellular process phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the rate, or speed, of actin cable retrograde transport is lower than normal. The process normally arrangement of actin cables from the periphery toward the interior of the cell. Actin cables are parallel actin filament bundles nucleated by formin, and are the most common form of actin filament bundles found in yeasts.
