Term summary

ID
FYPO:0002447
Name
abnormal protein N-linked glycosylation during vegetative growth
Ontology or CV name
Phenotype
Definition
A cellular process phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the N-glycosylation of one or more specific proteins, or of specific protein sites, is abnormal. Protein N-linked glycosylation is the addition of a carbohydrate or carbohydrate derivative unit to a protein via the N4 atom of peptidyl-asparagine, the omega-N of arginine, or the N1' atom peptidyl-tryptophan.
