Phenotype ontology term - FYPO:0003813 - normal nucleosome positioning at stress response genes

Term summary

ID
FYPO:0003813
Name
normal nucleosome positioning at stress response genes
Ontology or CV name
Phenotype
Definition
A cellular process phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which nucleosome positioning is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type) near the promoter regions of genes that are expressed in response to stress. Nucleosome positioning is the ordering of successions of nucleosomes into regular arrays so that nucleosomes are positioned at defined distances from one another.
