A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which replication fork processing begins later than normal. Replication fork processing is process in which a DNA replication fork that has stalled (due to DNA damage, DNA secondary structure, bound proteins, dNTP shortage, or other causes) is repaired and replication is restarted.
