Name

Ontology or CV name

Definition
A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the localization of a protein to the mitotic spindle midzone is decreased during anaphase B. The mitotic spindle midzone is the area in the center of the mitotic spindle where the spindle microtubules from opposite poles overlap. Anaphase B is the stage of mitosis in which the polar microtubules elongate and the two poles of the spindle move farther apart.
