Phenotype ontology term - FYPO:0005299 - normal mitotic G2 DNA damage checkpoint during cellular response to UV

Term summary

ID
FYPO:0005299
Name
normal mitotic G2 DNA damage checkpoint during cellular response to UV
Ontology or CV name
Phenotype
Definition
A cell cycle checkpoint phenotype in which the mitotic G2 DNA damage checkpoint is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type) when the cell is exposed to ultraviolet light. The mitotic G2 DNA damage checkpoint negatively regulates progression through the G2/M transition of the mitotic cell cycle in response to DNA damage.
