- Definition
- A cell cycle checkpoint phenotype in which the mitotic G2 DNA damage checkpoint is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type) when the cell is exposed to ultraviolet light during S phase of the mitotic cell cycle. The mitotic G2 DNA damage checkpoint negatively regulates progression through the G2/M transition of the mitotic cell cycle in response to DNA damage.
