- A microtubule cytoskeleton organization phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which nucleation of cytoplasmic microtubules from the interphase microtubule organizing center does not occur. Normally, microtubules are nucleated from interphase microtubule organizing centers (iMTOCs) and from the cytoplasmic face of the spindle pole body (SPB).
