- A physical cellular phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the septum is in two asymmetrically located parts and does not completely bisect the cell. Arises when septum assembly begins at two sites which are not on opposite sides of the medial cortex and terminates prematurely on both sides.
