- A cellular process phenotype in which the frequency of occurrence of meiotic recombination is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type). Meiotic recombination is a cellular process in which double strand breaks are formed and repaired through a double Holliday junction intermediate, resulting in the equal exchange of genetic material between non-sister chromatids in a pair of homologous chromosomes.
