Term summary
- ID
- FYPO:0005952
- Name
- normal nucleosome occupancy at highly transcribed RNA polymerase II genes
- Ontology or CV name
- Phenotype
- Definition
- A cellular process phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which nucleosome occupancy is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type) in chromatin regions where RNA polymerase II actively transcribes genes. Nucleosome occupancy measures the tendency for DNA in a given region to be packaged into nucleosomes.
Annotation
Multi-locus phenotype
