Term summary

ID

Name

Ontology or CV name
Phenotype
Definition
A cellular process phenotype in which the lateral attachment of sister chromatids to mitotic spindle microtubules is abnormal. Normally, sister chromatids become laterally attached to spindle microtubules as part of mitotic metaphase plate congression. Attachment precedes migration along microtubules towards the spindle equator (metaphase plate).
