- A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which cohesin unloading is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type). Cohesin unloading is the topological unlinking of a cohesin ring complex from chromatin, which negatively regulates sister chromatid cohesion.
