A cell phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the extent of DNA resection upstream of a stalled replication fork is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type). DNA resection is the 5'-to-3' degradation of one strand of DNA, leaving a stretch of single-stranded DNA.
