- A cellular process phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which the anisotropic movement of chromatin occurs to a lower extent than normal during mitosis. Normally, chromatin moves to a lesser extent, and with less freedom of movement direction (i.e. more anisotropically), during mitosis than during interphase.
