A phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which cells show increased sensitivity to a combination of phloxine B and hydrogen peroxide. Cells stop growing (and may die) at concentrations of phloxine B and hydrogen peroxide that allow wild type cells to grow.
