- A cellular process phenotype observed in the vegetative growth phase of the life cycle in which kinetochore microtubule depolymerization, i.e. the removal of tubulin dimers from a kinetochore microtubule, occurs to a lesser extent than normal during anaphase A. Kinetochore microtubule depolymerisation drives chromosome movement during Anaphase A in S. pombe.
