Term summary

ID
GO:0030678
Name
mitochondrial ribonuclease P complex
Ontology or CV name
GO cellular component
Definition
A ribonuclease P complex located in the mitochondrion of a eukaryotic cell, where it catalyzes the 5' endonucleolytic cleavage of precursor tRNAs to yield mature tRNAs. The subunit composition of mitochondrial ribonuclease P complexes varies between species.
